Clara "Jean" McHone Fletcher - Clara "Jean" McHone, 72, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 in her home. Mrs. McHone was born in Buncombe County to the late Roy and Nora Owenby Spillars. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence McHone and her bother, Uncle Bud Spillars. She was employed by Enmark for twenty-three years, and she was loved by many. She was kind to all and knew no stranger. She was willing to help anyone who needed help. She is survived and missed by her daughter, Helen Osteen (Paul); son, Scott McHone; grandchildren, Lee McCrain (Angel), Alanna Kristian (Steven), and Lakota Roberts, and three great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters. The family welcomes friends in the home at other times. The family will receive friends and family at Mills Gap Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 6:00pm - 7:30pm with services following officiated by Reverend Jeff Wilkie.
