I am so sorry to hear about Doris' passing. I worked with her at Marshall Field's and she was one of my best work friends even though there were almost 60 years between us in age. I still remember the night we took her out for her 80th birthday. I tried to keep in touch with her after she moved south with an annual Christmas card and phone call the would end up lasting for three hours. Doris was a special lady and I feel very lucky to have been able to know her. Vicki, is there anyway you can keep me informed about the details of the service in Minnesota that is being held for her next summer? I would love to attend this if at all possible. Blessings to you and your family.

We were only fortunate enough to have known her the last few years as we became friends at Piazza. It was always a treat to visit with her and enjoy a spunky conversation. What a wonderful treasure to all who knew her.
