Elmer Shealy Obituary

Elmer Emanuel Shealy, 90, died in Weaverville, NC on January 29. He is survived by son Wallace of Flag Pond, TN and daughter-in-law Faith Akin of Johnson City, TN. He was married to Betty Ann Craft Shealy, who died in 1978, and to Corine W Shealy who followed him in death on February 1. His younger son Gary died on February 23, 2016.

Elmer was born December 16, 1927 in Gilbert, SC. He was a graduate of Clemson and retired from Dupont Savannah River. He and his wives were faithful members of Saint Paul Lutheran in Aiken, SC for more than sixty years.

A joint memorial will be held at St Paul's, 4pm February 25th. Memorials may be given to Gary Shealy ALS Clinic at ETSU or to his Clemson Scholarship Fund.
