Harold Floyd McClain, 76, of Lake Toxaway passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at his home. Born on April 9, 1941 in Greenville County, SC, he was a son of the late Floyd Jackson McClain and Beatrice Hawkins McClain. He was the owner of McClain's Lawn Care and Tree Service. He enjoyed making furniture, and had a passion for treasure hunting and gold panning. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Sharron Anthony and Cindy Lou McClain; sister, Beverly Creech, and brother, Kenneth McClain. Surviving are his loving wife of 11 years, Joyce McClain; children: Annette Evette of Westminster, SC, Sandra McClain of Greenville, SC, Angel Robinson of Balsam Grove, NC, and Dorothy Rigsby and her spouse, Jacy, of Rosman, NC; brother, Gary McClain and his spouse, Evon, of South Carolina, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and step children. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Lake Toxaway Community Center.
