Usually condolence postings are to the family, but in this situation there are those of you in Lake Lure who were my father's substitute family. We are flung far and wide and the phone was the closest time spent with our Dad with few exceptions since he wouldn't leave Bettina's side. Thank you for keeping a special place in your heart and diner for this larger than life man and his loving wife. I know you too will miss him greatly.
