Mary E. Justice ,66, of Chimney Rock, NC passed away on February 22, 2017. She was the daughter of Bert and Leah Justice, born on January 7, 1951.

Mary was educated and trained as a Registered Nurse at Western Carolina University. She worked at Mission and Pardee Hospitals, and later moved to working with Family Medical Center in Hendersonville.   She loved helping people and her caring nature made her excel in her field. This love and caring nature also extended to a love for animals, especially her cats. Mary was an avid reader, she loved books of all styles, but was especially fond of Stephen King. Her family smiles when they think of her love for watching “cheesy” scary movies. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents.

Mary is survived by her sons, John Griffin and David Griffin (Christy) of Chimney Rock, NC; her grandson, Ryan Skeens; and her brother, John Justice (June Ellen).
