Rose T. Balistreri, 80, passed peacefully on November 26, 2017, at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center in Asheville, NC. She was born in 1937 to John A. & F. Marie Harter Thomson. Including her parents she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Emmeline Loughridge (Roy), Mary Murphy (Arthur "Pete") and one grandson Benjamin Smith.
She is survived by her husband and partner of 42 years. Mark and her feline babies of the home, 2 daughters, 3 sons, 1 step-daughter and their spouses; numerous grandchildren and their spouses, and great grandchildren; 1 sister, 2 brothers, 1 brother-in-law and their spouses; nieces and nephews and their spouses and other blended family members.
