Tommy Mendez, 40, passed away on May 7, 2017. Born on May 9, 1976 to the late Lynn J. Sharpe and Ronnie Sharpe, Tommy was a native of Buncombe County. He is survived by his only daughter, Kaydence Elaine Mendez; wife, Kim Watkins; father, Ronnie Sharpe, brother, Bruce Mendez; sister, Patricia Sharpe; step-son, Michael Watkins; step-daughter, Kasey Holcombe; nephew, Robert Sharpe and brother-in-law, Bobby Dawson. Tommy was a beloved father, son, and brother. His presence is deeply missed by all that knew and loved him. Memorial Services will be held at Green Hill Cemetery on Saturday June, 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM.
