Uwe Brenke, 82, of Arden, NC passed away at his home on September 8, 2017. Born to the late Alice Koller and Paul Brenke in Hamburg, Germany on May 13, 1935, Uwe immigrated from Germany in 1959. He settled in Greeneville, TN and moved to Asheville, NC in 1965 with his wife and two young children. Uwe worked for TDM Corporation and remained in Asheville until his death.

Uwe is survived by his son, Michael Brenke (Kimberly Hughes) of Charlotte, NC; daughter Marina Brenke (Mason Battle) of Lilburn, GA; sister Helga Kahrs of Hamburg, Germany; and granddaughter Miranda Battle of Lilburn, GA.
