Arnold Eugene Sprouse, 68, of Canton, NC passed away on September 18, 2017. He was born in Buncombe County on March 23, 1949 to the late Lillie Bell Odum Sprouse and Zeb Wesley Sprouse. Arnold was one of seven children, growing up on a farm where hard work and fun times with his siblings were a part of daily life. He loved to fish and go bowling.

Arnold is preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Louise Sprouse, a brother Charles Sprouse and a brother-in-law, Bill Thomas.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters Ann Thomas, Mary Myers and husband Burt; brothers Terry Sprouse and wife Sharon, Larry Sprouse and wife Ruth, James “Jim” Odum and wife Doris; and one step-son Chuck Franklin. Arnold also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and a large extended family that will miss him dearly.

Arnold will be laid to rest alongside his wife in a private family service.
