Bessie Horton Obituary

Bessie Louise Horton, age 94, of Marion, NC passed away on Sunday July 22, 2018 at Autumn Care of Marion. She went to sleep Saturday night and woke up in Heaven Sunday morning.

She was born on March 7, 1924 to the late Will & Cozy Nelson. She was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church and enjoyed her cats, making flower arrangements and playing bingo. She was the last sibling in her family.

She was preceded in death by two sisters; three brothers; and her three children, Gene Gibson, Ann Syfrett, & Doris Bennett.

She is survived by a granddaughter, Debra Healy; a grandson, Hubert Syfrett of Florida; several great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
