Beth Ellen Schook Marzejka, 61, of Hendersonville passed away on September 7, 2018 at the Elizabeth House. She was born on January 8, 1957 in Macomb County, Michigan to William Booth Schook and Elizabeth Ellen Breeding Schook. In addition to her father, Beth is preceded in death by her husband, John Albert Marzejka. She was a supervisor at Ocean X and a Christian. Beth was a woman of God who loved her family more than anything. She was a true example of strength with a "can do" spirit and a quick wit. Beth loved with her whole heart and soul. She had sadness and loss in her life but she always got up and accepted the challenge the day had for her. Beth will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Elizabeth Smith of Hendersonville, North Carolina; son, Samuel John Marzejka of Pensacola, Florida; sisters, Shannon Johnston of Durango, Colorado, Michelle McHugh of Niskayuna, New York, Nicole Kipp of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Krista Medina of Morristown, Tennessee; brother, Reid Schook of Ada Michigan; eight grandchildren; partner, Deborah Holbert of Hendersonville, North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.
