Betty Gray (Bailey) Winchester

Betty Gray Bailey Winchester, 89, of Asheville passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 14, 2019.

Born on January 7, 1930 in Wadesboro, NC, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Emma Bailey. She was an alumnus of North Greenville

College. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Benjamin Winchester, and siblings, Fred Bailey Jr., Ed Bailey, Albert Bailey, Peggy Bruns, and William Bailey.

Surviving are her children: Phillip Winchester of Arden, NC, Steven Winchester and his spouse, Judith, of Waynesville, NC, David Winchester and his spouse, Sally, of Asheville, NC: Siblings, Donald Bailey, James Bailey and his spouse, Sylvia, John Bailey and his spouse, Betty, and Margie Campbell; grandchildren: Benjamin Winchester and his spouse, Kimberly, Brain Winchester, Brad Winchester, Alan Winchester and, Kristi, and Stephanie Winchester; great-grandchildren: Aurora, Riley, and Isabella; step-grandchildren: Brent Maue and his spouse, Maritza and Kimberly Macy and her spouse, Ryan; step-great-grandchildren: Everett Macy, Aidan Macy, Asher Macy, Owen Macy, Jacob Maue, and Olivia Macy. No memorial service will be held at this time.

A celebration of Life will be held on August 10, 2019 at 3PM at Covenant Community Church, located at 11 Rocket Drive in Asheville, NC.
