Cornelia Frances “Corky” Parrish Kaylor, 68, of Maggie Valley, NC passed away on July 22, 2017. She was born on November 28, 1948 to Thelma Clary and Willie Rufus Parrish. She was one of eleven children. Corky was a caregiver and took care of Mr. Larry Carver for 21 years. She was dedicated in her work and to her family.

She is preceded in death by 9 of her siblings and her son, Tommy Dobbs.

She is survived by her children, Melissa Jean Rogers of Candler, NC; Jennifer Ann Parker of Seale, AL; Donald Lewis Dobbs of Seale, AL; sister, Lucile P. Rawlings of South Hill, VA; nine grandchildren, Cody, Matthew, Tiffany, Kaitlyn, Lyndsey, Logan, Shelby, Heather and Jay. She also leaves behind 2 great-grandchildren Jaxon and Myles.

A  "potluck" celebration of life will be held on Saturday August 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm 1861 Moody Farm Road Maggie Valley, NC 28751. Please bring a favorite dish and enjoy the memories, laughter and tears honoring Corky. Interment will be in South Hill, VA.
