Dianna Cathey Obituary

Dianna Gail DeBruhl Cathey, 62, of Asheville, North Carolina, passed away, Thursday, September 19, 2019 at the John F. Keever Jr. Solace Center.

Dianna was born in Asheville on April 28, 1957 to the late Betty Jean Bryson DeBruhl And Thomas Vincent DeBruhl. She was a taxi driver who was known for her free spirit. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her soul mate, Mandy Boone; a brother, Steven A. DeBruhl (Debbie); two nieces, Christy DeBruhl Garren and Amy DeBruhl; a great nephew, Justin Garren, all of Asheville; great aunt Bernadean Bryson; and her lifelong friends, Judy and Heather Johnson.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to Care Partners Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the John F. Keever Jr. Solace Center on Dianna’s behalf.
