Jen, Gary, and family,
Just a note to tell you our prayers of comfort and strength be with you at this time. Edna fought the fight and kept the faith. Now no pain and suffering, cause she has arrived at that final resting place of peace and serenity. I will always remember her notes of encouragement and short stories of what we were facing with treatments and doctors. We will miss her, but we have the hope of seeing her "whole" again someday. We love ya'll,

Ernie & Bonnie

Dear Gary and Jennifer,
I sure loved your mama. She was one of my dearest friends. She loved her family and she loved the Lord and she lived her life telling people about Jesus. I am praying for your family. I love you both.

Dear Gary, Jennifer, and families,
Edna was one of the greatest Christian women I have ever had the privilege to have known. No matter what was going on in her life, she always had a smile on her face and Jesus name on her lips. If she told you that she was praying for you, you knew that your name had been brought South, she was truly a good woman. I am so very sorry for your loss but I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that she is in Heaven and I know that we will see her again. Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers during this time of loss.

Apparently part of my message was deleted. It was supposed to say that if Edna told you she was praying for you, you knew that your name had been brought before the throne of God and, as we say here in the South, she was truly a good woman. I apologize for the error.

Edna loved us with a huge smile. Every time we saw her she was smiling. She was more concerned about how you were than how she was. We will miss her more than words can express. Thoughts and prayers

Dear Jennifer and Gary,
Our love and prayers in your dear Mama’s promotion so close to your dear dad’s as well. Heaven’s gain is a huge loss for our world. We pray for Jesus to comfort you with His Presence, Power, and Love. Edna’s very Presence exuded His love and joy and her absence leaves big footsteps for us to follow. She is such a precious unique sister and I appreciate the great privilege to know her and look forward to seeing her again.

Jennifer and Gary,
I can't even imagine what you are going through. Please know I'm here for you as always.
I have so many fond memories of Edna from when we where crazy teenagers and her and my mom trying to keep us straight, to as an adult the short time I went to Trinity. Every time I saw her she would come up and greet me with Kimmie, Kimmie gibbler. She always made me laugh. But most of all the loved y'all. The last time I saw her when visiting Trinity she made sure I said hey to you Gary, Jennifer you wasn't there. She was so proud of y'all and loved those grand babies. Im going to do my best to be there sunday, but I might have company. If not I will be there. Just know since I found out y'all have continuously been in my thoughts and prayers. Love you, Kim

How I will miss your uplifting presence on this earth, sweet Edna! What a friend you have been since I met you so many years ago. Pain free at last in heaven! You left such a powerful witness for all to see. So grateful the Lord let our paths cross. Meet you in that heavenly choir!

Jennifer and family, part of my heart is heavy knowing Mrs Edna is no longing here on earth with us, the other part is rejoicing. I love her from the moment I met her. The joy on her face while she was singing in the choir will forever be printed in my mind. Prayers for the family and friends she left behind. Much love

I loved Edna. And Edna loved me. I think Edna loved everybody. She just embraced everyone she met, and she made everyone feel important. She served others with all the love in her heart, a love that emanated from the heart of Jesus, through her welcoming arms and her working hands. Nobody will ever replace her in our lives or our souls. Thank you for sharing her with us while she was on earth.
