Frank Henry "Buster" Dover, Jr.

Frank Henry “Buster” Dover, Jr., age 76, of Inman, SC, passed away peacefully, on Friday, December 27, 2019, at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC.

Mr. Dover was born on April 9, 1943, in Thomaston, GA, to the late Frank Henry Dover, Sr. and Annie Doris Peaden Dover.

Mr. Dover served his country proudly in the United States Navy and worked as a furniture finisher for Hann Finishers. He attended Hope Church in Spartanburg, SC. Mr. Dover had a great sense of humor and was known to be a big jokester. He enjoyed going out to eat and loved to sing gospel music, play guitar and watch old movies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy Jones; second wife Ruby Epan Dover; and his third wife, Carol Terry Dover; and two sisters, Joyce Johns and Nancy Barfield.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Frank Dover, III and wife Tina of Roseville, CA, Bob Dover and wife Blanca of Camarillo, CA, Jim Dover and wife Sonja of Inman, SC, and Jeff Dover of Phoenix, Arizona; daughters, April Frazier and husband Matt of Eldorado Hills, CA and Lisa Johnson and husband Carlos of Redding CA; Niki Nelson of Truckee CA a sister, Loquita Jordan of Thomaston, GA; and 22 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

The family will have a private Memorial Service at a later date.
