On Wednesday, November 29, 2017, Heaven gained an angel. Jennifer Lynn Hoglen-Goldsmith, a loving wife, a wonderful mother, and an amazing daughter, took her walk to the Pearly Gates to be with her mother, Millie Silvers-Hoglen, and her father, Ted Hoglen, after spending 40 amazing years here on earth.

Born November 9, 1977, she was raised in Canton, North Carolina by Millie and Ted Hoglen. She lived in Horse Shoe, North Carolina with her loving husband, David; daughter, Kristen; and sons, Josh and Phillip.

Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, David Eugene Goldsmith, Jr., 41. They spent 8 years in each other’s company, and 6 years married to each other. She is also survived by her children, Kristen Ivy Seay, 21, Zuri Paige Hoglen, 19, Phillip Andrew Goldsmith, 17, and Joshua Aaron Goldsmith, 15.

Jennifer was a vibrant woman who brought love, warmth, and smiles into anyone’s life that she walked into. She was a ray of sunshine and will be loved and missed.
