Jimmy Harold Freeman, 76 of Mills River, went to his heavenly home on June 8, 2017. Jimmy was born to the late Arthur and Mary Freeman, in Hendersonville, NC on March 7, 1941. He Graduated from Hendersonville High.

He was a devout Christian and leaves behind his loving wife of 41 years, Sherri Freeman.

Lifelong drag racer, mechanic, owner of Skyland Battery and manager of I-26 Small Engine, he is survived by 3 sons and 1 daughter. Dale & Debby Freeman, Alex & Bobbi Freeman, Josh & Erin Holbert, Candice & TW Moore. 5 grandchildren, Wesley & Kristen Freeman, Melyssa Freeman, Cameron, Brooke & Quinn Holbert. 1 great-granddaughter Macie Freeman. There will be a Memorial Service at a later date, to be announced.

Donations can be made to The Elizabeth House or Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mills River.
