Joe Wallace Powell JR., 62 of Haywood County went to his forever heavenly home Friday, April 27, 2018 at Mission unexpectedly.

He left behind his loving wife Vicky of 40 years, son Joe Powell III and one granddaughter Jasmine. His step mother Amy Powell and 3 half siblings Maddie & Roger Powell and Chris Taylor. He also had 1 brother and 3 sisters. He was preceded in death by his father Joe Powell SR. Joe was a diesel mechanic with a great love for Dodges and muscle cars. He had a passion for working on vehicles, with his son, and had a great love for the outdoors. He often went to the lake with family and enjoyed seeing who could out fish who. Hunting was one of his hobbies as well. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.He was truly a loving man inside and out.
