Julia, I was saddened when I heard about Jose dying. His comradely was enjoyed by all in the golf group. I only knew him for a few years via the golf group and looked forward to Jose's humor as he brought fun to the golf course.
I could tell he was a sincere man and enjoyed life. He shared his battle with alcohol early in life and his proud accomplishment of being sober for many years. I could tell he was a man of determination and I became concerned when he couldn't finish a couple of rounds of golf earlier this year.
I will miss Jose.
