Judy Gail (Brigmon) Church

Judy Gail Brigmon Church, 66, of Asheville, died Thursday, May 9, 2019 at her home.

Judy was born June 14, 1952, to Jennie Lea Holcombe Brigmon and William Ralph Brigmon in Buncombe County. She was previously employed with Davidson Homes and enjoyed gardening and cooking, cherished her dog Charlene and was a fan of both Stephen King and Waylon Jennings.

Preceding Judy in death was her father; nephew, Jack Brigmon,; brother, David Brigmon; sister, Janet Ammons; and sister-in-law, Diane Lynn Brigmon.

Judy is survived by her mother, of Black Mountain, NC; sons, Christopher Brigmon and wife Michelle and Jeffrey Church and wife Ashley of Fairview, NC; brother, Jeff Brigmon of Anchorage, Alaska; sister, Carrie Lea Webb of Asheville, NC; sister, Diane Brigmon of Black Mountain, NC; grandchildren, Amanda Brigmon, Dallas Brigmon and Reese Church of Fairview, NC along with several nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brother Wolf Animal Rescue or to Asheville Humane Society. Online condolences to the family may be made online at AshevilleMortuaryServices.com.
