Lauren Nicole Boone, 27, of Barnardsville, passed away unexpectedly at her home June 2, 2017.

A native of Buncombe County, Lauren was born March 14, 1990, a daughter of the late Katrina Boone (2014). In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her grandfather, Lester Boone.

Lauren lived most of her life in Mars Hill. She loved animals, watching movies, solving word puzzles, and reading. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Alanna Marie Mulley of Candler; sisters, Shawnna Phillips and Lindsey Mulley; and grandmother, Wanda Boone. Lauren is also survived by her many friends.

A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, June 16 at 1:00 PM at Little Ivy Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1053 Crossroads Parkway in Mars Hill with Pastor Phillip Emory officiating.

Lauren had a smile and a giggle that lit up the lives of her family and friends. She loved everyone, and everyone loved Lauren.
