Lawrence Edward 'Larry' Stocker

Lawrence Edward 'Larry' Stocker, 76, passed away on April 10, 2018 at the Carolina Reserve in Hendersonville, NC. He was born in Fillmore, Ventura County, CA on November 30, 1941 to Charles Ellis Williams and Mary Jeanne Stocker Williams. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen and Samuel Stocker, who adopted and raised him. He earned an Associate's Degree from Ventura College in CA and worked at the Ventura County Agricultural Department. Larry was a member of the Lion's Club, and enjoyed collecting antique car hubcaps.

Larry is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marie Kimmey Stocker; daughters, Lindsey Stocker of Sierra Madre, CA and Lesley Stocker of Jacksonville, FL; son, Grant Stocker of Wiesbaden, Germany; stepson, Andrew Jackl (Jill) of Clayton, NC; stepdaughter Sylvia Jackl (Gunderson Bare) of Apex, NC; brother, William Stocker (Pat) of Fillmore, CA; grandsons, Aaron Stocker of Charlotte, NC, Drew Jackl of Clayton, NC and Wyatt Bare of Apex, NC; and grandaughters, Sarah Jackl of Clayton, NC and Deanna Bare of Apex, NC.

A memorial service will be held mid May for friends and family.
