Leona Lucille Barnwell, 84, of Fairview, went to be with our Lord on Monday, January 15, 2018. She went peacefully in her sleep and is in the arms of our Lord with no more pain or sorrows.

She was preceded in death by her husband, LR “Bud” Barnwell. She is survived by two children, Dale Barnwell and Yvonne Rutherford; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; four sisters, Doris Wilson, Joyce Bates, Shirley Davis, and Jean Rollins; four brothers, Lloyd, Junior, Herston, and Gary Owenby.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Emmas Grove Baptist Church in Fletcher with Rev. Gene King officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., prior to the service at the church.
