Leslie Joseph Aliano

Leslie “Les” Joseph Aliano, 61, of Sylva passed away suddenly on Friday, February 22, 2019 at the memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals in Asheville, NC. Born June 29, 1957, he was the son of the late Leslie and Betty Aliano. He was a graduate of Wolcott H.S. in Wolcott, CT, and was an employee of Lowes Hardware in Sylva, NC for the past 13 years. Les attended Webster U.M.C. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Aliano and step-sister, Brenda Blood. Surviving are his step-siblings, Joyce Michaud (John) and Karen Dunlap (Bob) all of Bristol, CT, Douglas Bouley (Jean)of Arizona, and Sandra Riddle of California; and close longtime friend, Bonny Legassey of Sylva, NC. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 24, 2019, at Webster United Methodist Church, 1491 Webster Road, Webster, NC
