Mary Anne Van Coutren Obituary

Mary Anne Van Coutren of Tryon Estates in Columbus, NC passed away on February 13 after a long illness. She was born in Houston, TX on June 24, 1940 to Sterling Bond McCall and Dorothy Royer McCall. She graduated from Lamar High School in 1958 and attended the University of Texas. She will be missed by her husband, Andy; her three children, Kevin, Sterling, and Kristen; and her nine grandchildren, Riley, Parker and Coleman Van Coutren, Reagan, Kendall, and Tripp Van Coutren, and Skylar, William, and Waylon Tidwell. She was a very special person and loved to chat with and all people. A funeral will be held Monday, Feb.19 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Eugene Catholic Church in Asheville, NC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Hospice House, 260 Fairway Rd. Landrum, SC.
