Maxine Abee Riddle, age 83, died May 27th 2017 at Rose Hill Retirement Center in Marion, NC.

Maxine was born in Burke County September 27th, 1933. She was the eldest daughter of the late Beulah and Merton Abee.

Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Riddle; and a daughter, Anna Lisa Riddle. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Terri and Jim Carrier of Nebo; her granddaughters, Ms. Elizabeth Ashley Carrier of Newport Beach, CA, and Dr. Stephanie Carrier Hodges and her husband, Dr. Jonathon Cooper Hodges, of Charlottesville, VA.

The family is grateful for the wonderful care the staff provided Maxine at Rose Hill Retirement Community. We were all very blessed she could live her last years at such a beautiful place.
