Michael "Mike" Zigo, 59, of Weaverville, NC passed away suddenly on Friday, July 28, 2017. Born on January 30, 1958, in Zanesville, OH, he was a son of the late Paul and Rita Orwig Zigo. He was an alumnus of Otterbein University in Westerville, OH class of 1980. He had previously served on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of America in Kinston, NC. Mike enjoyed golf, music, had a outgoing personality with a knack for cooking. He will be missed by those who knew him. Surviving are his devoted spouse of 22 years, Barbara Zigo; siblings: Connie Kihm and her spouse, Jim, of Holmes Beach, FL, Stephen Zigo of Norwalk, OH, Stephanie Harnetty of Zanesville, OH, and Chris Zigo and his spouse, Cathy, of Dublin, OH; his cherished poodle, Phil, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
