Mickey Norman Gray, Jr. “Mike,” 64, of Swannanoa, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, October 29th, 2017 at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville.

He was the son of the late Mickey Gray, Sr. and Ruth Gray. Mickey was a veteran of the US Army. After attaining a degree in Business, he was the proprietor of East Asheville Storage. He was of the Christian faith. He was also an avid fisherman, a talented culinary artist, a Rock & Roll enthusiast, and a card-carrying member of the NRA and GOP.

He is survived by his son, Brandon; daughter-in-law, Elisa; brother, Sean Kincaid; granddaughter, Avaree in Hendersonville, NC; son, Jason and fiancee, Ariel Vandergrift, with daughters, Lily and Leah; and grandsons, Cameron and Logan in Callahan, FL.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 17th, 2017 at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain.
