This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Morris Whitted, 80, born on April 8, 1937, and passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017, surrounded by his family hearing Amazing Grace.

Morris was born April 8th, 1937, a son of the late Rex and Margaret Whitted.  He is preceded in death by his sister, Polly Willis; and brothers, Bill, Gene, Babe and Doc Whitted.  He loved spending Sundays with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Morris is survived by his wife of 58 years, Delena Bessie Ruth Willis Whitted; his daughters, Beverly Jane Doan, Patricia Ann Hardesty, and Rita Mae Silver; his son, James Leslie Whitted; his sister, Doris McConnell; his brother, Lewis Whitted; his 6 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Memorial and burial services will be held Friday, December 1st, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Whitted Family Cemetery.  For the exact location, please contact the Whitted family.  If desired, flowers may be sent to 27 Rex Whitted Rd., Weaverville, NC 28787.
