Nancy Ethel (Noble) Haney

Nancy Ethel Noble Haney, 81, of Fairview, NC passed away on October 7, 2018. She was born on November 1, 1936 to Ethel and Chapel Noble. She graduated from Oakley High School Class of 1954. She was actively involved with Alcoholics Anonymous for over 20 years, providing guidance and support for many; however, her greatest passion was her family. Nancy adored her children and grandchildren. She loved the time they were able to spend together.

In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her brother, Chappell Noble and grandson, Jayson Haney.

Nancy leaves behind her sons, Ray (Debbie) Haney of Sarasota, FL; Andrew (Leonora) Haney of Orange Park, FL; daughter, Elizabeth (David) Akins of Fairview, NC; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on November 3, 2018 at 3:00 pm at the New Hope Community Church 308 Patton Cove Road Swannanoa, NC. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Tim Earwood will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Nancy’s honor to Care Partners Hospice 68 Sweeten Creek Road Asheville, NC 28803.
