Pamela Joyce Dotson

Pamela  Joyce Stewart Dotson of Candler, North Carolina, age 71, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 11, 2019, at her home of 23 years.

Pam was born to Louise Allen Stewart and James Albert Stewart on January 13, 1948, in Asheville. She graduated from A.C. Reynolds High School. Pam retired from her work at Medical Action Industries. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids and great-granddaughter. Pam loved to cook, and enjoyed both the mountains and the beach.

Pam is preceded in death by her father as well as her brother, James Stewart.

She is survived by her mother, Louise A. Stewart of Asheville, NC; her children, Larry Ray Dotson, Jr. (Hope) of Fletcher, NC, and Kristie M. Dotson-Owen (Galen) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her siblings, RaDeana Dotson (Charles), Deborah Hudgins (Robert) and Terry Stewart (Debra) of Asheville, NC; her grandchildren, Amanda Dotson and Allie Dotson of Fletcher, NC, Brittany Allison (Rob Adams) and Benjamin Allison of Virginia Beach, VA and Bradley Allison (Nicole) of Jacksonville, NC; her great-granddaughter Aleigha Rayne of Virgina Beach, VA; and many nieces and nephews and family friends who she loved and adored.

A Celebration of Pam’s Life will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2019, at 2:00 PM, at Trinity Church of Fairview.
