Patty Belle Burnette Tweed, 76, passed away on August 19, 2018, at Care Partners Hospice in Asheville, North Carolina.

Patty was born August 30, 1941, to William T. Burnette and Noreene Clary, both of whom preceded her in death.

Patty lives in Rocky Mountain, North Carolina for part of her life before moving to Asheville, where she has lived for over 45 years. Patty worked as a CNR during her working life and in her personal time, she loved attending the Landmark Baptist Church. She had a deep enjoyment of the Christian community and music.

She is predeceased by her husband, Albert Lewis Tweed and her siblings, Mary B. Mills and Larry Burnette.

She is survived by her brother-in-laws Philip Player (Anna), Dean Player (Janet), and Herman Player(Lois), as well as numerous nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and countless loving friends.

A service will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. Pastor Jason Bartlett and Dean Player will be presiding.
