Rosemary (Kleinsmith) Franklin

Rosemary “Rose” Kleinsmith Franklin, of Asheville, North Carolina, went home to be with her heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 29 2019, at the age of 72.

Rosemary was born October 30, 1946 in Buffalo, NY to the late Virginia and Russell Kleinsmith.   She moved to Asheville, NC in the late seventies and thought it was the most beautiful place in the world and it is where she raised her four sons.   Rosemary loved to garden, enjoyed playing the piano, loved to paint & craft, and was devoted to her beloved dogs.  She worked as a CNA for many years tenderly caring for the sick and elderly.

She will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother and caregiver. She is survived by her sons; Ward Scott, Earnest Scott, David Scott and Daryl Scott; daughter-in-law Robin Scott; grandchildren; Alyssa Scott, Michael Scott and Erica Scott; sister of Alice Reinhardt, Judy Maloney and the late Russell, Jim, David and Christine Kleinsmith; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30PM on Friday, June 14, 2019 at The Parish of Saint Eugene Catholic Church, 72 Culvern St, Asheville NC  28804.
