Sandra Hope “Sandy” McDevitt Fisher, 68, of Rosman, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at her residence.

          Sandy was born in Smyrna, Tennessee on February 28, 1949 to the late Troy McDevitt and Verona Inez Fisher. She was married to the late Russell Hinkle Fisher, who preceded her in death in 1998. She was a CNA at the Brian Center of Brevard and was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Sandy was an outdoor enthusiast who loved gardening and landscaping. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly.

          Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Tammy Fisher and Princess Deptuch and husband Samuel Eubanks, all of Brevard; a son, Russell Fisher of Cashiers; two brothers, Henry McDevitt and wife Lupe and Lee McDevitt, all of Rosman; two grandsons, Chris Deptuch of Rosman and Ethan Deptuch of Brevard; a granddaughter, Tristin Fisher of Cashiers; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
