Teisha Ann Putnam, 33, passed at Stonecreek Health and Rehabilitation facility on June 29, 2017. Teisha faced many health issues from birth but always found a way to make lemonade from lemons, even when life gave her way too many lemons! Her sense of humor and positive attitude were gifts she shared with all. She had a heart of gold and was always thinking of others. Teisha is survived by her mother, Donna Jones (Bill) of Canton, her father, Tony Putnam (Jackie), of Spartanburg, S.C., grandmothers Sarah Mease and Judy Putnam , both of Canton , and step-brothers Christopher Geiss of Spartanburg, S.C. and Andrew Geiss of Charlotte,N.C. She is preceded in death by her beloved sister, Tonya Putnam, grandfathers Guy Mease and J.L Putnam, all of Canton, and step-brother, Hunter Geiss, of Spartanburg, S.C. We send a special thank you to Teisha’s physicians and caregivers who helped her through many challenges and to her friends at Stonecreek. A memorial service will be held Monday July 3rd 4pm at Spring Hill Baptist Church, 1918 Murray Road, Canton NC. Family will receive friends immediately following the service.
