Tina Louise (Gann) Barnwell

Tina Louise Gann Barnwell, 55, of Balsam Grove, NC passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals in Asheville, NC. 

Born December 13, 1963 in Del Rio, TX, she was the daughter of Elbert Neal Gann of Graham, NC and the late Patricia Allison Gann.  She was a graduate of Cummings High School in Burlington, NC.  Of her many enjoyments in life some of her favorites were visiting Topsail Island and the Outer Banks;  driving the Blue Ridge Parkway; watching humming birds; and graphic design work. 

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Margaret and Rohmer Kearns, and Lily Mae Hopkins. 

Surviving is her spouse of 33 years, David Barnwell; children, Chris Barnwell and wife, Jeannette, of Burlington, NC, Jennifer Smith of Mebane, NC, Danielle and Jade Pierce both of Balsam Grove, NC; sister, Kim Gann Ball and husband, Jeff, of Burlington, NC; granddaughters, Josselynn and Willa Barnwell; and nephews, Patrick Gann of Watauga, TX and Houston Ball and wife, Morgan, of Burlington, NC.
