Violette Millender (Hensley) Fluharty

Violette Millender Hensley Fluharty, 91, died peacefully at her home in Asheville on February 4, 2018. She was born on November 5, 1927 to James H. Hensley and Dorothy French Davis in Asheville, NC. In addition to her parents, Violette is preceded in death by her husband, Warren Fluharty, who passed away on May 6, 1988. She graduate from Lee H. Edwards High School and was a wonderful homemaker. Violette attended Trinity Episcopal Church and enjoyed gardening and art. She loved her pets. Violette is survived by her son, Warren Fluharty Jr., owner of Warren Fluharty Designs in Asheville, NC 28803.

A celebration of life service will be held in the Spring of 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brother Wolf and the Asheville Humane Society. Violette was a beloved wife and mother, and a mentor of many friends.
