Dr. Wesley Robert Clark, 71, of Sevierville, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2018, at his daughter’s home in Fletcher, North Carolina.
Dr. Clark was born in Amarillo, Texas on January 1, 1947 to the late William Henry Clark and Muriel Rabourn Clark. He attended Topeka West High School, Washburn University, and received a Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force as a navigator during the Vietnam War. He later served in the Kansas Air National Guard, with whom he retired his military service, while practicing as an optometrist in Holton, Kansas. Dr. Clark was an active Rotarian and served Rotary International on numerous medical missions as an optometrist. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Leslie Lowe; and his granddaughter, Ashlyn Lowe, both of Fletcher, NC.
