William Terry Lee

August 4, 1952- August 20, 2018

Asheville, NC- William "Terry" Lee a resident of Asheville, has died after a battle with Multiple Myeloma and Dementia. He was 66. Born in Newfoundland, Canada on August 4, 1952 he was the son of the late William Harold Lee and Gladys B.(Neal) Lee.

On August 16, 1986 in Fayetteville, NC he married his loving wife Linda I. Dennis. They celebrated 32 years of marriage. Linda cared for him selflessly throughout his illness at their home.

Terry is survived by his wife, Linda D. Lee; his two daughters, Silky Lee Kramer of Knoxville, TN and Lindsey Lee of Charleston, SC. He also leaves behind his grandsons, Cody and Spencer Kramer and son-in-law Shawn Kramer. Other family includes his loving brother Richard G. Lee and wife Bama Lee, brother Michael E. Lee and mother-in-law Ursula Dennis.

Terry was a graduate of Chamberlain High School in Tampa, FL.  Following high school he attended Pinellas Technical College, St. Petersburg, FL an earned a degree in motorcycle mechanics. He worked for over 20 years in the motorcycle industry at Barney's BMW in St. Petersburg, FL as well as Kawasaki of Fayetteville/Cunningham Cycle World of Fayetteville, NC. He later went on to graduate with honors from Fayetteville Technical Community College with an Associates degree in Civil Engineering. After graduating he worked for NCDOT in both Fayetteville and Asheville, NC for over 20 years.

Terry lived life to the fullest enjoying running, mountain biking, motorcycling, hiking, camping, and swimming, but his first love was his family. He was a hard working honest man who could always be counted on. He brought so much joy to everyone and will be missed dearly.
