William Arthur Wilson, 77, of Burnsville, NC passed away on March 31, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Arthur was born on June 10, 1939 in Buncombe County, NC to Florence Sturgill Wilson and Alex Wilson. Arthur served our country in Vietnam with the United States Army. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed times with his family. Arthur is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Geter and Ralph Wilson; sister-in-laws, Evelyn, Linda and Charlene Wilson and one brother -in- law, Thurman Cook. Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Nina Presnell Wilson of Burnsville, NC; his daughters, Tina (Billy Joe) Williams of Unicoi, TN; Carla (James) Pipes of Burnsville, NC; step-daughter, Theresa (Thomas) Abraham of Garner, NC; brothers, JE (Amaryllis) Wilson of Burnsville, NC; Robert Wilson of Burnsville, NC; Willard (Ann) Wilson of Swannanoa, NC; Frank (Mary) Wilson of Burnsville, NC; David (Janis) of Walters, OK; sisters, Anna Cook of Connely Springs, NC; Barbara (Bobby) Watts of Limestone, TN. Arthur also leaves behind his grandsons, Dakota Williams of Unicoi, TN; Dustin Sellers of Miami, FL ; four step grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.
