Alice Ann Waldroup Obituary

            Alice Ann (“Aliceann”) Lamb Waldroup of Asheville, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020. She was seventy-nine.

            Aliceann was born August 2, 1941, to Rachel Nora Gowan Lamb and James Homer Lamb in Asheville, North Carolina. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren, loved to crochet, and enjoyed her dogs. She worked as a winder for Beacon Manufacturing. Alice Ann was a member of the Azalea Church of God.

            In addition to her parents, Aliceann was preceded in death by her husband, Don Waldroup; stepchildren Freddie and Jimmy Waldroup; and siblings Eveolean Dodd, Bill Lamb, and James Norton. 

            She is survived by her daughters Kimberly Lamb of Waynesville, North Carolina, Allison Collins (Robert) of Asheville, North Carolina, and stepdaughter Deanna McClure (Terry); her brothers, George Lamb of Asheville, North Carolina, and Dennis Lamb (Barbara) of Lindenhurst, Illinois; her grandchildren, Donald Lamb of Waynesville, North Carolina, and Mark Elam; and several dear nieces and nephews, including niece Crystal Banks (Jamey) of Asheville, North Carolina.
