Angela Jean Putnam

Angela Putnam, age 53, of Arden, NC passed away on September 27, 2025 in Asheville, NC. Angela was born on July 25, 1972 to Linda Cox, of Arden, NC, and the late Jerry Cox.

Throughout her life, Angela enjoyed crafts, cooking, camping, and enjoying nature. She especially enjoyed time with her family and big family gatherings. Her nieces and nephews were “joys” in her life.

Angela is preceded in death by her grandparents, Barbara, Georgia, Lee, Dwight, and Carroll. She is also preceded in death by her aunt, Patricia.

Angela is survived by her siblings, Chris (Megan), R.J. (Hannah), Kelly (Phil), and Kevin (Lisa). She is also survived by her dad, Aldin “Dad” Christopher, her stepfather, Ray “Pops” Cox, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will announce a celebration of life for Angela at a later date.
