Angelique Elizabeth (Cunninghame) Breneman

            Angelique Elizabeth Cunninghame Breneman passed Sunday May 15, 2022, at home in Lake Lure, North Carolina. She was sixty-five, born March 28, 1957, to Lois Ellen Maisch Cunninghame and the late James Ferguson Cunninghame in Jersey City, New Jersey.

            Angelique graduated from Cherry Hill East High School and attended Master’s College in Valencia, California. She was a former member of Lake Lure Baptist Church. Angelique had the gift of hospitality and worked in guest services at Biltmore Estate’s and owned White Laurel Guest House. She collected Victorian antiques and enjoyed interior design.

            Angelique is survived by Daniel E. Breneman, to whom she was married forty-four years; by her mother, Lois Cunninghame; children, Joshua, Jared and Justin all of Asheville, North Carolina; and her brother, James Cunninghame, Jr., of Asheville, North Carolina.

            A memorial service will be held at three o’clock the afternoon of Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Lake Hills Church (370 Lake Dr, Biltmore Lake, NC 28715). Pastor James Walker will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made at gofund.me/3b5f561b.
