April Teresa McCall

April Teresa McCall, 65, of Pisgah Forest, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on May 17, 2026. She was born on October 29, 1960, in Seneca, SC, to the late Thomas Arvil Patterson (2013) and Elizabeth Patterson (2016).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Thomas Patterson McCall.

April dedicated most of her life to serving others through her work in home health care. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially reading and gardening, which brought her great comfort and peace.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, James Timothy McCall, of Pisgah Forest, NC; her children, Jennifer Murgolo (James) of Pisgah Forest, NC, Tracy Powers (Ryan) of Kuna, ID, and Elizabeth McKinney of Pisgah Forest, NC; her siblings, Marilyn Burns (Anthony) of South Carolina, Leon Patterson (Teresa) of South Carolina, and Seaborn Patterson (Sherry) of Virginia; her grandchildren, Sarah Rote, Thomas Rote, Jason Guzman, Samuel Guzman, Ben Powers, Dimitri Murgolo, Zaineb Belle McKinney and William Mason McKinney; and her great grandchildren, Olyver Murgolo, and Neveah Hazelman.
