Bari Caton Obituary

Bari Quinn Caton, née Barbara Latini, 71, of Weaverville, North Carolina passed July 24, 2020.

Bari was born in New York to the late Pierino W. Latini and Lee Latini.  For more than ten years Bari was an essential, respected and loved copy editor for getAbstract, the largest online library of summaries of business books and other resources. Her professionalism and her attention to the meaning and the details of language had a lasting impact, and she was a caring, engaged colleague and teacher. Bari volunteered with the Buncombe County Democratic Party and was one of the earliest members of the Firefly Gathering, which supports sharing primitive living skills.

In addition to her parents, Bari was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Latini.

Bari is survived by her brothers Bill Latini (Maxine) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Jim Latini (Noel) of Monroe, New York and her sister Judy Tolve (Bob) of New Winsdor, New York.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Many special Thanks to her friends Lewis Blake, Andie Hensley and Sarah Christy for the love and assistance they gave Bari in her final days. Special thanks also to the medical staff at Mission Hospital and CarePartners Hospice for the love and compassion they exuded while caring for Bari.
