Bennie Arthur Foster

It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely

passing of “Ben” Bennie Arthur Foster age 79. Our beloved Husband,

Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle has left us too soon. Ben passed away

Monday June 3rd, 2024 while at home in Fletcher NC surrounded by his

loving wife & family. He is survived by Atea Foster, his loving & devoted

wife of 43 years. Angel Lorance, Pennie Peek his daughters. Grandchildren

include Cinthia Foster, Benjamin VanDyke, Logan Foster, Lori Radford.

Ben’s siblings include Rudolph Foster, Jackie Waldron, Dana Tucker,

Audrey Riley.

Being a veteran, Ben served in the US Army as an intelligence officer. The

community will remember him as Ben of Benz Signs since 1986 in

Fletcher NC. Ben had an amazing artistic and creative talent. He was

driven & passionate about everything he did. As an entrepreneur he could

fix or make anything he set out to accomplish. He called it Bengineering.

Everyone that knew him would say he was caring, kind and one of the

most intelligent men they knew. Ben is loved and will be so missed.

There will be no services or memorial per his wishes. In lieu of flowers

Ben would want you to be kind to a stranger, make someone smile or even

try your own Bengineering in his memory.
