Betty Joy Fowler, age 73, of Asheville, NC, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Mission Hospital.
Mrs. Fowler was born on November 15, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Clarence Douglas Davis and Betty Clara Harrell Davis. She was a Jehovah Witness and homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Barry Rich; three brothers, Ronald Lee Black, Wimbert Douglas Davis, and John Edward Davis; two sisters, Carol Mars and Patricia Kitchens; and stepfather, George Reeves.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 35 years, Jack Curtis Fowler; a daughter Mary Sue Reeves of Asheville; a brother, David Donovan Reeves (Wanda) of Leicester; two sisters, Alice Holland of Cincinnati, OH and Cindy Griffith (Reuben) of Asheville; two grandchildren, Sabrina Reeves (Gerard) of San Diego, and David Reeves (Kelton Stephenson)of Plant City, FL; and two great-grandchildren Taylor Lynn and Jordan Cummings, both of San Diego, CA.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 7:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, at 40 Brookdale Rd., Asheville, NC 28804, conducted by Brother Alan Morgan.
