Billie Dupre Huntley Ledbetter, 88 of Hendersonville, passed away November 24, 2016 at Elizabeth House at Four Seasons Hospice.  Mrs. Ledbetter was born in Gerton, NC to the late William Lawrence Huntley and Varina Rhodes Huntley.  She was a lifelong resident of Hendersonville and graduated from Edneyville High School.  She later went on to work with the Henderson County Department of Social Services and at Belk Department Store.  She was also a member of Bearwallow Baptist Church in Gerton, NC.

Mrs. Ledbetter is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Daniel A. Ledbetter.   Also left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Larry Freeman and his wife, Karen of Mills River, Glenn V. Freeman III and his wife, Mary of Hendersonville and Alex Freeman and his wife, Cheri of Boiling Springs, SC; sister, Beada Turnmire and her husband, Charles of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren, Zach Freeman of Tulsa, OK, Jami Freeman of Boiling Springs, SC and Chrisie Bishop and husband, Todd of Mills River; and niece Tara Lucas and husband, Steve of Charlotte.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Ledbetter will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 11am at Tuxedo Baptist Church in Zirconia, NC.  Pastor Mikell Bennett will officiate. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Elizabeth House at Four Seasons Hospice, 581 South Allen Rd., Flat Rock, NC 28731.
